Sensitive Fern (Onoclea sensibilis)

This fern is long stemmed and has fleshier fronds than other varieties.  It can be sensitive to frost hence the name.  Onoclea sensibilis can grow in fairly dry ground but it is also happy in much damper areas and will even spread across the water surface.

Specific Plant Care:
Grows best in a damp, but not water logged ground, in a sheltered position. Tidy old foliage as required.
