Oxygenators for a Container Pond

Below is a selection of oxygenating plants perfectly sized for a container pond.  These plants have slow to medium growth rates so will not overrun your container pond in a season. Through the process of photosynthesis, oxygenating plants release oxygen into the water, the foliage also helps to create much needed hiding places for wildlife. 

For a pond measuring up to 1 square metres we recommend 1 pack of loose bunched oxygenators and you can add a potted one too if you want.  It is also a good idea to check your oxygenating plant stocks in spring and autumn and top up if necessary.
