Marginals for Container Ponds

Below is a selection of marginal plants perfectly sized for a container pond.  These plants have slow to medium growth rates so will not overrun your container pond in a season.  Plants are important for providing encouraging pollinators, shading the water from the sun and if the container pond is sunk into the ground, providing cover for visiting amphibians.

For a container pond measuring up to 1 square metre we recommend 4 to 6 - 1 litre marginal plants.
