Pack size:

Normally Available From: 2ltr - April to August

Bring a splash of vibrant colour and soft texture to your pondside planting with our cheerful Armeria Dreameria Collection. These compact perennials are known for their tidy mounds of evergreen foliage and masses of bright, bobbing flower heads that bloom for months on end.

Perfect for sunny borders and gravel paths around the pond (but not planted in the water), these hardy, low-maintenance plants are great for softening edges and creating colour that lasts well into late summer. Their rounded flowers sit proudly above tidy clumps of grass-like leaves, adding structure and a natural, meadowy charm to your pondside space.

Pollinators love them too, bees in particular can’t resist the nectar-rich blooms, which keep coming with regular deadheading.

This collection includes 3 x 2ltr plants, featuring one of each of the following:
- Armeria ‘Daydream’

How to Grow
  • Growing Instructions: Plant in well-drained soil at ground level, ideal for sunny borders, gravel paths, or edges around your pond (not in waterlogged areas).
Position in full sun for the best flowering performance. Water regularly during dry spells in the first season to help plants establish. Once established, armeria is drought-tolerant.
Space plants 20–30cm apart to allow for healthy growth and airflow between clumps.
  • Growing Tips: Improve drainage and structure by mixing in horticultural grit or sand if your soil is heavy.
Avoid mulching directly over the crown, as this can cause rot. Plant with the crown just at or slightly above the soil surface.
Deadhead faded flowers regularly to encourage longer blooming and keep plants looking neat. Divide every few years in spring to maintain vigour.
Care & Maintenance
  • Pruning: Trim spent flower stems close to the base to encourage new blooms. In spring, tidy up any damaged or untidy foliage, but avoid heavy cutting back.
  • Pests/Diseases: Armeria is generally pest- and disease-free. Its tough, evergreen nature and low growth habit make it a resilient choice for pondside planting.

No. Live plants require draining and careful preparation.  The nurseries dispatch in scheduled batches rather than on-demand. This means same-day dispatch isn’t possible, but we always aim to send your order as promptly as we can within our dispatch schedule.

If you’d like to check when your order is likely to arrive, just email us and we’ll be happy to advise.

We use trusted UK couriers:
APC and Royal Mail for pond plants
DX for garden plants
Pallet deliveries for 30ltr waterlilies, large landscape orders and container ponds

Delivery Times

APC and DX orders are sent on overnight services but may take up to 48 hours depending on your local depot.
Royal Mail parcels usually arrive within 24–48 hours.

Plants are packed in damp soil and remain safe in transit for several days.

Tracking and Safe Place Instructions

Your dispatch email will contain tracking information where applicable.

Couriers are instructed to leave parcels in a safe place with no signature required. You can add your own delivery notes using the links below. We recommend requesting a cool, shaded spot so the plants stay fresh on arrival.

Royal Mail - will use your email and mobile number provided during ordering to send delivery updates and enable you to add safe-place instructions.
Please do not delay delivery of live plants.

Royal Mail will never ask you to make an additional payment for a delivery. If you receive a message requesting payment, please delete it and do not click any links. If you are unsure whether a message is genuine, email us and we’ll be happy to advise
