Delivery Information

Plant Orders

Current Season: Low Season (1 October - 4 March)

Dispatch Days: Orders are dispatched once a week on Tuesdays.

Unpacking Your Plants

When your plants arrive:

  • Be careful when unpacking plants, delicate stems can stick to damp bags and may break.
  • Gently open the bag and ease stems and leaves off the plastic.
  • Place the plants in your pond as soon as possible.
  • If you can’t put them in the pond immediately, place the plants in the shade, add pond water to the bag to keep them damp, and leave the bag open at the top.

All plants come with labels showing the depth they should be placed in the pond. Depth is measured from the top of the pot to the water’s surface.

Waterlilies: Place them at a depth where their current leaves float on the surface. Gradually lower them as they grow.

Unpacking Your Snails and Mussels

Snails and mussels will arrive wrapped in damp paper. Follow these steps:

  • Carefully peel off the paper.
  • Fill a container with pond water and let them acclimatise for 30 minutes before placing them in the pond.
  • For snails, put the lid back on the container to prevent them from climbing out!

Unfortunately, any snails or mussels that float to the surface have died. If this happens, please take photos and email us your order number (starting with PFP) for assistance.

Pre-Orders

If your order contains pre-order items, it will only be dispatched once all items are ready for shipping. Most items will be ready in April/May.

To receive items sooner, we recommend placing two separate orders one with pre-order items and one with in-stock items.
